Project Details - Public Hearing for the proposed project will be of backward integration nature for production of Nylon-6 Yarn & Nylon-6 Fabrics which are existing project of manufacturing of Nylon-6 Dipped Fabrics. The project will manufacture Nylon-6 Yarn from Caprolactum and the produced yarn will be utilized for manufacturing of Nylon -6 Grey Fabric & Nylon- 6 Dipped Fabrics.There are reserved forest & protected forest areas falling within in 5 Km radiusfrom the site and interstate boundary within 10 km.During operation phase, impacts may occur mainly due to pollution of environment, competing use of water resources, Impact on water resources:material handling & storage, hazards associated with proposed project, noise generation, traffic & load on other public amenities Construction of the project would have impact on the water resources mainly due to the consumption of groundwater.It has been estimated that about 438KLD groundwater will be required as freshwater. Impact on soil:the potential of soil contamination due to the hazardous chemicals & wastes cannot be ruled out.Hazardous waste is in the form of ETP sludge
